Blueslinks Project to Host Info Days for Innovation and Growth in the Nautical Sector

As part of the Blueslinks project, two key informational events, known as INFO DAYS, will be organized to foster innovation, growth, and specialization in the nautical sector. These events are designed to provide valuable insights and solutions for stakeholders and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) operating within the industry.

Addressing Skill Gaps and Driving Innovation

The decision to hold these INFO DAYS is based on an in-depth survey conducted among stakeholders and service centers, as well as participatory processes aimed at identifying current challenges in the nautical sector. The survey revealed critical knowledge and skill gaps that hinder the industry's full development potential.

By organizing these events, Blueslinks aims to bridge these gaps by providing tailored consulting activities under project activity ACT. 2.4: "Info Day and Exchange of Innovative Services for Nautical Sector and Linked Services SMEs." These consultations will help SMEs gain access to specialized knowledge and best practices, enhancing their capabilities and competitiveness in the market.

What to Expect from INFO DAYS

The INFO DAYS will focus on key topics relevant to the future of the nautical sector, including:

  • Innovative Technologies and Digitalization: Exploring advancements in maritime tech and how digital transformation can drive efficiency.

  • Sustainable Practices: Encouraging environmentally friendly initiatives that align with the blue economy.

  • Business Growth and Specialization: Providing SMEs with strategies to differentiate themselves and capture new market opportunities.

  • Collaborative Networking: Facilitating knowledge exchange between industry professionals, experts, and policymakers.

Consulting Activities for SMEs

Participating SMEs will have the opportunity to receive targeted consulting support tailored to their specific needs. These services will provide practical solutions and strategies that SMEs can implement to enhance their operations, improve innovation capacity, and integrate sustainable practices into their business models.

Strengthening the Nautical Sector for a Sustainable Future

The Blueslinks project is committed to fostering sustainable growth in the blue economy by equipping SMEs with the tools and knowledge needed to thrive. By addressing skill shortages and promoting innovative services, the project aims to enhance the overall resilience and competitiveness of the nautical sector.
